What is collected
Access logs. The site is served through Cloudflare and our own hosting. Like any web server, they record each request: the IP address, the page requested, the browser's user agent string, the referring page if the browser sent one, and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and to look into abuse or errors. They are kept for a short period and then deleted; nobody builds profiles from them.
Page-view analytics. To see which pages are read and where visitors come from, the site sends a page-view event to PostHog, hosted in PostHog's EU cloud in Frankfurt. Each event carries the page URL, including any UTM parameters in it, the referrer, the browser's user agent string with the browser and operating system names and versions and the device type, the browser language, the time zone, the screen and viewport size, and a random identifier that exists only in memory for that page load. PostHog derives an approximate location (country, region and city) from the IP address, then discards the address; it is not stored with the event. The analytics script runs in cookieless mode: it sets no cookies, writes nothing to your browser's storage, and keeps no identifier that would let it recognise you on your next visit. It does not record what you type, click or scroll, and it does not replay sessions.
What is not collected
There are no user accounts on netxms.org, no forms, no newsletter, and no comments. The site sets no cookies of its own and shows no advertising. Nothing described above is sold, shared with advertisers, or passed to anyone other than the two service providers named above, Cloudflare and PostHog, who process it on our behalf.

The forum, documentation site, GitHub, Telegram and YouTube are separate services with their own policies; this page covers only netxms.org itself.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, and object to its processing. Write to [email protected]. Because the site stores no identifier that ties data to a person, in practice we usually cannot match a request to any record; we will tell you if that is the case.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you can complain to the Latvian supervisory authority, the Data State Inspectorate .
Changes
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it, and the "Last updated" date at the top moves. There is no separate notification.
