NetXMS Support Forum

I recently noticed I have been going to Netxms.org and not Netxms.com during the autocomplete on my browser. Both sites are completely different with different versions being displayed and .org showing support for netflow/sflow in the feature list. I assume .org is owned by Netxms as well ?

Im still seeing this after installing  6.2.3 agent from 5.2.8 server is 6.2.2  windows agents repeatedly update installed packages.

Not sure if I am the only one but after upgrading to 6.2.3 I always get the following error when closing out the program.

Just curious would installing the netxms agent cause any issues if we want to run api commands localty via pvesh from the agent and create DCI's from that. Not sure if the agent has any advantage over just using the rest api.

Thanks

Alex,

Thanks or the update and I appreciate the work around. It worked great !!

Was this addressed in 6.2.1 ? if so I am still seeing the same thing. Its looks like a constant repainting of the data. I normally see it when looking at the Data Collection on a node or interfaces tab.

If possible it would be nice to be able to change the icons on the geo maps from the default.

After testing out the geo maps some tiles do not seem to load. This happens when using both the netxms and my internal tile server.  This however does not happen when I test each tile server with Qgis everything loads just fine. I have attached a screen shot.

Update:
I had to clear the cached maptiles on the client within  .nxmc4

Its working now I was pointing it to my WMS services not the tile service. Thanks for the reply

Question regarding the ability to use geo map background. Does this expect raster /{z}/{x}/{y} tile format or is it looking for a WMS/WMTS server to query capabilities ? I have a local tile server I would like to use but it just gives invalid tile format when trying use it and the default netxms tile server does not seem to work anymore

Thanks

Filipp,

Thank you for the clarification I appreciate it. I will look into using Execute.Script

There seems to be new task schedule options but not documentation on how to use them. I am curious about Execute.Action and if this allows us to run any existing actions we may have defined.

Thanks

Filipp,

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I appreciate it

I was looking more into the AI feature of NetXMS 6 and noticed a distinction between Assistant and Agent

Starting from NetXMS v6, MCP and AI assistant capabilities are provided in the open-source version. The AI agent module is available only as part of the NetXMS Enterprise Edition.

Could you clarify what the difference is and why one should be considered above the other

After deleting and re-creating the tool and filtering on OID it works as expected
