As you might know, on July 1th, 2012 time was changed to 1 seconds back, which affected some NTP-enabled systems.
Symptoms are server lockup and high cpu usage for some processes.
We've got reports about Debian6 and Ubuntu12 servers running nxagentd.

Fix:
* Upgrade tzdata packages
* Either reboot server or stop ntpd then set date manually and then restart ntp and affected applications

UPDATE: looks like it's enough to just jump time a couple of seconds ahead using "date" command, no need to restart anything. Ntpd then will resolve this jump.

We fixed issue with JVM detection, which could lead to non-functional web interface.
Version was not changed.

Please note, installer use port 8787, if you want to change it, check c:\netxms\webui\etc\jetty.xml

We have discovered that database upgrade from 1.0.5 to 1.0.6 can be slow in some cases, especially with large amount of data collected (one of our customers reported 1.5 hours).

Work is in progress on this issue and fix will be released later today.

We suggest you to stick to 1.0.5 until patch is released.

We are planing to provide binary packages for NetXMS, but we need to decide, which OS / Distribution should go first.

Note: most likely that there will be no binary package for Gentoo - only .ebuild, since Gentoo is user-build and completely unpredictable in sense of libraries and their versions.

Recently, we experienced severe server crash (file system was messed up — exact case when hardware redundancy do not work), now it's reinstalled and restored — partially. Unfortunately, in a process of restore we found issues with latest database backup, therefore forum and bugtracker data are partially lost. However, we are working on recovering rest of the data (mostly forum)

Current situation is:

• Bugtracker — all issues are available, user registrations lost
• Forum — restored from backup dated 07 Feb 2009; messages are lost after this date, user registrations are intact

Edit: Source-package (netxms-0.2.19.tar.gz) is repackaged by now (03/Oct/2007 22:37 GMT+2), no additional actions required if you got it after that time.

This is a fix for bug #189 which affects new installations of NetXMS.

Windows installer will be updated by tomorrow morning. Currently, you should cancel server configuraion wizard during initial installation, replace sql files in NetXMS\lib\sql\ with fixed versions, and after setup completion start wizard once again (by running NetXMS\bin\nxconfig.exe).
